Demonstration Download:

This demo is a fully functional version of Window Glass Design 2004 (Basic) with a few exceptions.  To avoid the common hassles usually inherent to demo versions we have simply "locked" a few of the inputs throughout the program therefore, allowing the user to try out the demo for as long as desired.

Restrictions:

1. A single lite thickness is locked to 3/16 inch for 3 and 4 sided support and 1/4 inch for 1 and 2 sided support.

2. Insulating glass lite thicknesses are locked to 3/16 inch and 1/4 inch.  (The 1994 version requires symmetric design, therefore the lite thicknesses are both locked to 3/16 inch)

3. All laminate designs are symmetric and have an interlayer thickness of 0.030 inches

4. The width of all units is locked to 48 inches for 4 sided supported and 24 inches for 1, 2 and 3 sided supported.

5. The user cannot enter a long duration load. 

6. The short duration loads are limited to 20psf and 40psf.

These restrictions are for the demo version only.  A full version of Window Glass Design 2004 allows for all ASTM E 1300 approved designs and options.

1. Select the Save this program to disk option.
2. From the Save As screen, choose a directory to save the file.
3. Click Save.
4. If the download is successful, a Download complete screen will be displayed.

After the download,

1. Double click on SetupWGD2004.exe saved in the download directory to install the application.

2. Enter your User Name and Company Name when prompted.  

3. The entered default Serial Number is "Demo".  You do not need to alter this input.

4. Finish installation.
